Antoinette

Hip Hop Universe - Antoinette (rapper)

Antoinette is an American rapper from the Bronx, New York, who released two albums during the late 1980s and early 1990s. She made her first appearance on the producer Hurby Azor's 1987 compilation album, Hurby's Machine, with her song "I Got An Attitude". Sampling the Honey Drippers' "Impeach The President," this track off the compilation album Hurby's Machine introduced the Queens-born rapper Antoinette to the world. Her voice was as mean as her attitude, and her words were aimed directly at Brooklyn's own MC Lyte
